I am an amateur photographer, starting in 1965 with an Edixa SLR. My digital experience began in 1996 with a Kodak DC50. A resolution of less than 1 Megapixel (381024px to be precise) nowadays sounds like a joke but it was a great technical advance at that time. Some of the photos you may find here are still of that kind (Normandie, Cinque Terre and Morocco). The later photos have been taken with different cameras of the Canon Ixus family.
